Lille Fro is an Australian not-for-profit organisation. We are non-religious and non-political. We are small and hands on.
Our aim is to help break the cycle of generational poverty for the poorest of the poor living in extreme conditions in some of the remotest parts of the world.
We are committed to helping children and families from small communities who, due to their geographic isolation and circumstances, are difficult to reach and hard to help.
The focus of our commitment is education and training:
- to educate children by sending them to school
- to teach parents skills and offer training programs which can help improve the conditions in which they live and create a sustainable livelihood
We work at grassroots. This is where we believe we can have the greatest impact in helping to meet anti-poverty targets set by the UN's Millennium Development Goals, a set of time bound principles adopted by the World's leaders to cut global poverty, hunger and disease by 2015.
